Director's Message
After completing his Visharad Purna in Tabla from Gandharva Maha Vidhyalaya, Mumbai, Maharashtra, in 2013.
Chinmay Shastri pursued his post graduation in Tabla with Master of Performing Arts (MPA) from prestigious Faculty of Performing arts at MS University, Vadodara in 2018.
He established the Om Music Academy in 2017 while pursuing his MPA. Over the last few years, he has trained people across the world starting with the basics of Tabla to ensuring they receive their Visharads by hand holding their journey of enchanting music and skills of Tabla.
Chinmay Shastri is based at Ahmedabad, but as music knows no boundaries, students across the world have reap the benefits of his expertise through Digital learning from countries like USA, Canada, Australia, UK, etc. over last few years. He has put India on the world map for the people to learn the Tabla at comfort of their home. He is actively involved in promoting the Indian music with an emphasis to building bridges between different people and varying cultures.
Through the means of the Om Music Academy, Chinmay Shastri took further his commitment to preserving heritage and promoting cultural exchanges between the East and the West through the universal power of music.
